Solo Hike to thermos a Forgotten Millionaire's Compound Hidden in the Forest

What would you do if you found a secret 1920s village hidden deep in the woods? Today, Toby (the Bark Ranger) and I are hiking miles into the Chippewa National Forest to find the Joyce Estatea once-private retreat for the ultra-wealthy thats now a crumbling piece of Minnesota history. We are going to take a break from the campfire to do a little Forest "Urban Exploring" to learn about Minnesota abandoned History," which are massive search categories. We are going to seek out the abandoned Estate to explore the ruins of this hidden piece of Minnesota history.

This wasnt just a weekend cabin; it was a 40-building compound with its own telephone service, armed security, and even rum-runners flying in from Canada during Prohibition. We explore the abandoned guest cabins, the eerie main lodge (where the bats have taken over), and the funeral director "playhouse" belonging to the heiress herself.

Things got a little creepy when Toby refused to enter certain cabins, and a mysterious smell of perfume hit me out of nowhere. Is the forest reclaiming this millionaires playground, or is something else still lingering?
