🔴 LIVE Brewers vs. Cardinals PALLANTE TO THE HILL! - Play by Play & Reaction | Game 94 of 162 [nGmabSGQt6L]

Tonight the St. Louis Cardinals (48-43) tangle with the Milwaukee Brewers (58-34) in the fifth and final game of this notable five game series in St. Louis. Last night the Cardinals broke out offensively, in addition to recieving strong pitching from Michael McGreevy to secure a 5-1 victory over Milwaukee. Taking the ball this evening for the Redbirds is RHP Andre Pallante (10-5, 3.60 ERA), who at the halfway mark of 2026 has been a stand out performer for the Cards. In his most recent outing against the Cubs at Wrigley Field last week, Pallante went 5.2 IP, allowing 5 hits, 0 earned runs, 1 walk and 2 strikeouts. Pallante backed by a 17 run outburst by the Cardinals bats that afternoon, he cruised easily to his 10th win of the season. The Cardinals need that version of Andre Pallante this evening at Busch Stadium, as they try and properly salvage this series against the Brewers. Starting for the Brewers in this matchup is RHP Logan Henderson (2-1, 2.74 ERA), who has had an interesting year for Milwaukee. Henderson missed a good chunk of June due to apparently some kind of back issue. When Henderson has been on the mound for the Brewers, he has done more than merely show flashes of brilliance. Henderson very much operates on the basis of a four seam fastball with a swing and miss changeup. Given the effectiveness of Henderson's changeup, it propels the success of his fastball as it appears quicker to batters in the box by comparison. The Redbirds offense will need to content with that particular challenge for most of tonight. Will Andre Pallante step up for the Cardinals tonight as he so often has in 2026? Can the Redbirds build off of last night's win and find a way to really salvage this series against the Brewers? Join Paul D. for the play by play, with scheduled first pitch set for 6:45 PM CST at Busch Stadium.
