A while ago I saw a video essay here on YouTube dedicated to the phenomenon of 'outsider music'. This song... I don't even know what to say. The lyrics are so simple yet very impactful.
FUN FACT: I recorded myself singing on my phone first and for some reason I didn't check cbc news nb the video before I started adding other instruments and cogeco arson when I finally looked at it it was to late to re-record. And oh boy did it need re-recording. But anyway, the visual component of my content was never my strongest suit. Therefore I decided to go with what I had and make it black and white and crop it (for it to be at least somewhat watchable).
