In this video, John Oliver indicates there are two bills in Congress. As you can see in the video there was activity. I was late as December 2024. Please keep in mind this does not give additional money to anyone. It only allows people to have Resources from the work they do under the work incentives. It gives people the freedom to have a birthday present that doesn’t kick them off their benefit. I would like you to also keep in mind that many individuals who use SSI or SSDI our individuals who are very much trying to carry on a typical life only now as an individual who experiences a disability. Do you know anyone who has had an accident and as a result as a physical disability?  or a child who had to be born earlier than nature intended, and as a result has a disability? These bills are very easy to find thank googling the SSI Penalty Elimination Act  or the Supplemental Security Income Restoration Act.
