On my second interview with Michael Brennan in his Gowanus Brooklyn Studio. He asked if he could talk while working, he said he felt comfortable with that and it was something I had wanted from each of my subjects. Michael was at ease while working on priming a new canvas for paint. He spoke of the uses of tape in painting and the banality of subject matter when painters get together.
