A reformed criminal is forced to confront her past and return to illicit activities for one final job, hoping to secure her freedom and leave her former life behind for good. After a successful outing in Apple TVs The Gorge, Anya Taylor-Joy returns to the platform to lead the limited-series thriller Lucky. Can this maintain momentum thunder vs lakers and interest, or does the shows luck run out before the episodes do? This is based on a character from the novel by Marissa Stapley, and from what lego minas tirith I understand, while Taylor-Joys Lucky may share a little with her book counterpart, the series takes a more streamlined and less convoluted route to tell the story of a young woman raised by a con whos looking to turn her life around but gets caught up in one last escapade. This also stars Timothy Olyphant, Annette Bening, Clifton Collins Jr, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Mo McRae, William Fichtner, and Drew Starkey. Should Lucky be on your watchlist?
