For the third time in three months, Alaska Airlines has experienced a major IT failure. This time, it involves a global outage of Microsoft Azure. Alaska said several Alaska and Hawaiian airlines' services are hosted on the platform, which is causing "a disruption to key systems, including our websites," the airline said in a post on X post Wednesday morning. Other major companies like Kroger, Costco, and Starbucks also appeared to be impacted by the global outage.
