For nearly 20 years, this family of five has called a small boat their home near Cai Rang Floating Market.
On this rainy day, life on the river slows down. The father temporarily stops working, the children stay inside the low and narrow boat, and the mother prepares simple meals in a tiny kitchen with just enough space for one pot.
When the rain begins to ease, the father takes his two daughters out on a small boat to cast fishing nets.
