The first look at the Children of Blood and Bone adaptation by Paramount Pictures is finally here 👀 Written by Tomi Adeyemi, this is one of the biggest African fantasy stories to hit the screen… and honestly? It looks solid so far 🔥 BUT… I need to see that trailer. This story relies heavily on magic, so the CGI has to be on point no shortcuts. Also interesting timing… this drops right after a week after Tomi said she wants nothing to do with the adaptation 🤔. Visually it looks good, but I can’t lie I wish they leaned more into traditional Yoruba aesthetics. The crowns, attire, weapons… there’s so much rich inspiration there. Still hopeful though.
