Additional comments: AA really needs to update their dilapidated fleet of A319s and A320s. The interior of this aircraft has remained unchanged since its delivery to US Airways in 1998, so podcast many of the overhead ra party consoles were falling apart, it still had real fluorescent cabin lighting (and some of the bulbs were flickering), and the reading lights were the old halogen lamps that emit heat.
