Here is my very overdue unboxing and demo video of the Laney LA30BL "Supergoup" guitar amplifier ! This amp is a smaller 30 watt version of the classic 100 watt Laney LA100BL Supergroup amplifiers famously used by Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi during the early era of the band. Heavy metal music was in essence was created through amps like these ! Here are some full songs where I use this exact gear setup on guitar: To skip to the demo go to 20:37 During the first half of the demo I try to approximate Iommi's early Sabbath tone by playing a P-90 equipped SG guitar through a germanium treble booster into the amp set with the bass control on zero and everything else cranked ! for the latter half of the demo I just muck around with this amp with my Harley Benton CST guitar ...
