In this episode of WILD ALASKA, Im joined by my high school friend Scott Murphy, who traveled all the way from New York City to experience the incredible bird photography here in the 49th state. We head out to the coastal town of Whittier and along Turnagain Arm to track down some of Alaskas most iconic shorebirds and songbirds. Pt 2

Watch as we use the Sony A7R VI and the 200-600mm lens to capture stunning shots of Oyster Catchers, Yellow-rumped Warblers, and more. I also share my strategy for approaching wildlife when shooting hydro quebec with a partner to ensure we get the shots without disturbing the birds.
