Luna was practicing his winging while on the back porch while Sandy took a very big brave step and walked onto the front porch for the first time!! Keep in mind that there is no nest under the front porch - it is a a long way down but Sandy kept her composure and made it right back to the safety of the nest rails! Baby steps turn into big steps!! Last year, Sunny branched at 11 weeks old and Gizmo at 11 weeks and three days! ♥ I included views of Sandy's branching to the front porch from both cams! Usually Big Bear eaglets fledge in their 13 week but it is up to Sandy & Luna to know when that big moment will be!
