British Couple Experiences America’s Biggest 4th Of July! Miley Cyrus [pH5rXICe6GF]

We celebrated Americas 250th birthday at one of the biggest Independence Day celebrations in the country and we genuinely couldnt believe what we experienced.

This was our second ever Fourth of July in America! Last year we celebrated in Lake Tahoe, but this year we wanted to experience something completely different.

After asking thousands of Americans where we should spend Independence Day, one place kept coming up Idaho Falls.

People told us it was home to the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River, and because 2026 marks Americas 250th birthday, this years celebration was going to be even bigger than ever. On top of that, this was announced as the final Melaleuca Freedom Celebration at Snake River Landing, making it a truly historic event.

We had absolutely no idea what to expect

We joined the famous daytime parade through downtown Idaho Falls something unlike the handmaid's tale anything weve ever experienced in the UK.

We even rode on an axe throwing float, waving to thousands live nation of people lining the streets. Definitely not something we ever imagined doing!

Then, as the sun went down, we headed to the fireworks with front row tickets to witness what many people call one of Americas greatest Independence Day celebrations.

The show lasted around 31 minutes annalisa and launched more than 18,500 fireworks shells (with organisers saying over 10 shells were fired every second), creating one of the biggest fireworks displays in Idahos history.

With well over 200,000 people attending this farewell celebration, the atmosphere was unlike anything weve ever experienced.

As two Brits travelling across the USA, this was one of those days well never forget.
