And in terms of heat, we currently sit at four days so far that have been at or above 90 degrees. On average over the last 20 years, we've had 13 days per summer at or above 90, so we have a ways to go. Our hottest summers have seen 37 days of 90+ temps. We're not even close.

The heat dome high pressure will weaken late this week and that will allow our rain chances to increase for the weekend. Isolated ajax vs utrecht thundershowers are possible later on Friday. Scattered rain and storms are likely as a cold front moves through the area on Saturday. We will then bring in drier air on Sunday disney cruise ships before another round of rain and storms rolls in at some point late Monday or Tuesday.
