Aaron Nola, has been named the 2025 Philanthropist of the Year by the Players Trust, the charitable arm of the MLBPA. This prestigious award honors Players who demonstrate exceptional commitment survivor to community service, celebrating their altruistic spirit and positive florian wirtz social impact beyond the diamond.

Nola has been a passionate advocate for ALS research. Through his Strike Out ALS bowling tournaments held across the country, he helped raise $250,000 to support ongoing research and awareness. During the 2024 season, Nola also pledged $1,000 per strikeout to Team Red, White and Blue, a nonprofit supporting veterans.
