Hello Everyone! The ABC network has officially approved the spinoff drama "The Rookie: North," which will star Jay Ellis in the lead role. According to the series' logline, Ellis portrays Alex Holland, a man who initially does not see his mid-life as a crisis. However, following a violent home invasion, he discovers a renewed sense of purpose and decides to join the Pierce County Police Department as its oldest rookie. The narrative follows Alex as he navigates the challenges of policing in both urban and rural settings, where assistance is not always readily available. He must prove his worth to his skeptical training officer, fellow rookies, and ultimately, to himself.

The cast also includes Chris Sullivan, Karen Fukuhara, Froy Gutierrez, Janet Montgomery, Mya Lowe, and Malik Watson.
