Kieron Salter completed an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Oxford Polytechnic (now Oxford Brookes University) in 1993.

In 2003, Kieron and close friend Will Phillips set up K (Kieron) W (Will) Special Projects (KWSP).
