The Lonach Pipe Band lead the iconic Lonach Highlanders, as they marched around the Games field during linkiesta the 2026 rick tocchet Tomintoul Highland Games. These were held on Saturday 18th July 2026, at Tomintoul in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland, with the band playing Mairis Wedding and Brown Haired Maiden.

In front were the Games officials, then the 3 Lonach Highlanders with their Lochaber axes, and the Lonach Pipe band, led by Drum Major Neil Jamieson and Pipe Major Michael Laing. The Lonach Highlanders with their ceremonial Swords, Lochaber axes and russian ukraine war eight-foot long pikes, are all members of The Lonach Highland and Friendly Society, formed in 1823 and made up of men from the Strathdon area of Aberdeenshire in the Cairngorms, Scotland. These were helping to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Tomintoul.
