The development of Hurricane Genevieve [UofluIpmCzn]

This video tracks developing Hurricane Genevieve off the coast of Mexico from August 16-19 2020. During this time it formed from a low pressure system and quickly intensified to a category 4 cyclone. This video was created using imagery by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) satellite GOES-17 which I've downloaded from the CIRA archive. #hurricane #genevieve #hurricaneGenevieve #hurricaneSeason2020
