Cameron Diaz auditioned twelve times with zero acting experience in 1993 [YsWFWpPEbHY]

She was a 21-year-old model with no acting experience. Director Chuck Russell wanted her so badly he threatened to walk off the production entirely if they did not cast her. She auditioned twelve times and landed the role seven days before filming began. Anna Nicole Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Uma Thurman had all been considered for the part. Diaz started acting lessons only after she was already cast. Russell later said she "was funny from Day 1 and had a lot of guts and a lot of heart." The Mask became one of the ten highest-grossing films of 1994. Hosted by @hennasahota for History Photographed
