"We drove all the way from Rochester, New York, and we have been in the K Club since inception," one fan said.

The demand for tickets was immediate. Both Nebraska events sold out within minutes after tickets became available.

"It's great to be out here in Nebraska," a Bananas representative said. "We're trying to spread joy all around the country, and being able to come out here in Nebraska for the first time is exciting. The fans are loving it, and we're having a great time so far."

For many attendees, the event was about more than baseball.
