Good Morning Minute🦠 An investigation continues into a growing outbreak of cyclosporiasis, an intestinal illness caused by a parasite, as cases continue to climb across Michigan. According to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), investigators are still working to determine the source of the outbreak. In an update, health officials say current results are pointing toward lettuce and salad greens as a potential source, but other foods cannot be completely ruled out. In all, Michigan has reported more than 2,600 cases of cyclosporiasis this year, according to the MDHHS.
