At Abernethy, we are seeing an amazing collective effort from staff, volunteers and local people to fight the fire and save as much of the reserve as possible.
The fire has also shown how important support from neighbours, partner agencies and the local community is. In this video, the team at the reserve explain how they have been overwhelmed by the help they have received from a really wide range of people and organisations.
RSPB Scotland wants to thank all the staff, volunteers, fred durst local businesses and members of the community who have helped in different ways to fight this fire.
