The government is failing to defend the BBC against the lawsuit issued against the corporation by Donald Trump, the Liberal Democrats say. Anna Sabine, the Liberal Democrat spokesperson for culture, media and sport, said the prime minister should call the US president and ask him to pull back on his legal threat against the BBC.
