Kayaking in INSANE heat wave! 109F 👋🏻🤠 [nIVHJyeLuJZ]
In this video, we go south of the Virginia border to our neighbors in North Carolina! Only an hour south from Virginia Beach, VA to Hertford, NC. In this video we stay at a cozy coastal cottage for 4 days during an intense heat wave. High of 109F (42.7C). We get out on kayaks into the Albermarle Sound brackish water. 10 miles south is an alligator sanctuary in fresh water, and 15 miles east is the Outer Banks (salt water) on the Atlantic Ocean. One of the largest Great White sharks was recently sited there! With the hot temps, fishing fell flat. Ryan caught a number of small crabs unintentionally on the rod and reel. And, of course, released them. He also captured some underwater footage below our dock. Nothing but sand and seaweed. Also, We got to meet some locals and enjoy the 4th of July fireworks on the water.
