Maneuverable little "hotrod" isn't it? The Victory II was the first cruise ship of the season, arriving our fair city June 4 at 8:15 in the morning. Arriving from Thunder Bay ON with passengers for a day visit in the Twin Ports. They docked at the newly re-done DECC Cruise ship dock at 8:35. Busses then came to scurry the tourists to all sorts of places in the Twin Ports. Patrons of the run ship do a multitude of things like visit the Train Museum, Aquarium, walk the lake walk, Visit the Marine Museum and a lot of other activities. Only in Port for 8.2 hours they departed the DECC dock at 16:46, spun a 180 and sailed under the Aerial Lift Bridge at 17:00. They were heading back to Thunder Bay ON for the 1st leg of their return trip. The Victory II has since visited the Twin Ports 1 more time. Paying us a hayden hackney visit June 18. One more time than last season.
