Coming together for a meal creates community no matter where it happens. Volunteers with the USO Northwest at Joint Base Lewis McChord serve a free lunch three days a week. Those lunches, usually made-to-order deli sandwiches, are served in the café of the center on base, but this week, they moved the operation outside to the parking lot for more of a picnic atmosphere. The chili cheese dogs come with a side of gratitude.
