Amanda Colley, a vibrant 36-year-old Florida mother, separated from her jealous husband, James "J.R." Colley, after years of controlling behavior and obtained a domestic violence injunction against him. On August 27, 2015, just hours after attending a court hearing on a prior violation of that injunction, J.R. emerged from the woods behind Amanda's St. Johns County home armed with a handgun and opened fire.
