Welcome back to Day 7 of our 10-day Irish road trip adventure! Today we are officially leaving County Kerry behind and starting our journey back up north, heading from Tralee all the way to the historic town of Trim.
After enjoying one last delicious breakfast at our cozy country lodge, we hop back into our Ford Puma and head straight to the shores of Lough danny dyer Leane to see the striking 15th-century Ross Castle. From there, we venture deeper into the magnificent Killarney National Park. Along the scenic park roads, we run into traditional horse-drawn jaunting cars and share a friendly wave with the tourists on board!
The visual highlight of the park is the spectacular Muckross House. I launch the drone to capture wide, dramatic aerial sweeps framing the grand 19th-century Elizabethan-style mansion set against the massive, glassy lake in alianza lima vs sporting cristal front of it. Next, we stop at the roaring Torc Waterfall. Here, I put my drone's obstacle-avoidance system to an intense testnavigating the dense forest canopy perfectly to track us walking along the river trails without hitting a single tree!
Leaving the park, we make a relaxing coffee pit stop in the picturesque village of Adare, famous for its historic thatched-roof cottages. We take a peaceful village walk and step inside to admire the beautiful architecture of the Holy Trinity Abbey Church. Back on the road, we head toward Birr Castle. The fortress looks incredibly grand from the outer gates, but after checking the prices, we find the tickets yalla kora heavily overpricedespecially since they charge an extra fee just to step inside the actual castle tower. We make the executive travel decision to skip it!
To wrap up a massive day of driving and exploring, we push on to County Meath and check into our hotel in the historic town of Trim to call it a night.
