In this episode, we meet a petersburg young Bond, just before he is recruited into the Double 0's. We follow him through training, which has a rocky start, and watch him make new friends. However, he is a bit of a rebel, and sometimes thinks he knows better than his assignment. He has good intentions and good instincts for trouble, but he is not yet skilled in matters of restraint.

By the end of this episode, James Bond learns that there are consequences to his actions...
