He departs quickly and Jackie will begin a feeding to both chicks. Jackie will brood & then get up & departs once again leaving the chicks in charge! They both are alert and are looking around. At 9 days old, their eyesight is much improved. A Mountain Chickadee(12:48) will visit the nest and hop from limb to limb as it checks out the chicks. Jackie flew over to Cactus Snag and remained there until ravens were heard cawing way too close to the nest. In seconds Jackie is back at the nest and she vocalizes her displeasure at them. Jackie remains on alert for a short time keeping her eagle eye on the ravens. Thank you for watching!
