Former officer warns Flock cameras could fuel mass surveillance [bvZs77tum9R]
A former Pawtucket police officer is sounding the alarm on Flock cameras as the automatic license plate readers become commonplace nationwide. "The freedom to be able to move freely in your community without your government tracking you...That's the necessary freedom that we should never give up," said former Pawtucket officer Noel Pichardo. Pichardo has been speaking out about the cameras since their implementation in Pawtucket in 2021.
