Few rain pockets with a few possible lightning strikes are pivoting to the northeast in some of the mountainous areas to nearby areas with some passing high-level clouds and some low-level clouds elsewhere. Leftover breezy outflow winds are bringing in low-level moisture from the southwest in south-central areas, while south-southeasterly winds are present in eastern areas. Temperatures are once italy again starting off seasonably mild to cool with the humidity not as prevalent compared to yesterday morning for most. Similar temperatures are present than yesterday morning with mostly around-average to slightly above-average temperatures. Northern areas are mostly starting off in the high 40s to near dael fry 70. Elsewhere to the south, air temperatures are mostly ranging from the high 50s to the 70s in southern areas. High temperatures will mostly be around to or above average. Many areas from eastern New Mexico to the Pecos River Valley area will range from the upper 80s to above 100 from north-northwest to south-southeast from high to low elevation. The northern higher elevations will mostly range from the upper 60s to lower 70s, while the northern paolo conte valley floors to western and central areas will mostly range from the 80s to the 90s. Sinking, compressing air with the drifting Monsoon high pressure system aloft shifting west to eastern areas, as well as some sunshine, will still lead to daytime heating fueling thunderstorms. Spotty to isolated thunderstorms will form across the mountains to nearby areas through a decent amount of western and northern areas, spotty parts of the Rio Grande Valley, and some parts of eastern areas. Storms may be capable of producing torrential downpours, some hail, very erratic wind gusts, and frequent lightning strikes. Surrounding the Monsoon high pressure ridge in the western part of the country, trapped upper-level moisture is being dispersed out across the region from the east, as well as some lower-level moisture from the Gulf to the southeast. Consequently, fewer thunderstorms with hotter air will transition to more rain this weekend.
