We explored County Sligo + Donegal for around 10 days whilst staying in Siana’s family farmhouse. Here is everything we got up to: * Gleniff Horseshoe – A stunning six-mile loop drive surrounded by dramatic mountains and hidden valleys. * Benbulben Forest Walk – A scenic trail offering peaceful woodland paths with views of Sligo’s iconic table mountain. * Mullaghmore Head: Bishop’s Pool – A natural ocean swimming hole tucked along the rugged Mullaghmore coastline. * Classiebawn Castle – A striking 19th-century castle perched on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. * Slieve League Cliffs – Some of Europe’s highest sea cliffs, offering breathtaking panoramic views over Donegal’s coast. * Silver Strand – A secluded horseshoe-shaped beach with golden sand and crystal-clear waters. * Hot Box Sauna, Rosses Point – A cosy wood-fired sauna right on the beach with incredible sea views. Link: * Luke’s Bridge, Sligo – A peaceful riverside spot framed by lush greenery, perfect for a quiet escape. It is also the starting point to Benbulben walk.
