ABOUT

Earth, Wind & Fire is one of the most important, innovative and commercially successful American pop-soul-funk bands. In the words of music magazine Rolling Stone, Earth, Wind & Fire has forever changed the sound of pop'. The band has sold over 90 million records worldwide and influenced a wide range of stars like Alicia Keys, Beyonc, Prince and Mary J Blige. The super group, founded in 1969 in Chicago, is also one of the most reliable party taylor frankie paul bands of the past decades. Unfortunately, founder and former lead singer Maurice White passed away this year. He suffered from Parkinsons disease and although as a result he hadnt toured with the band since the 90s, he was still a big influence. For those who wish to know more about the legendary band, Philip Bailey, band kasper schmeichel member from the very beginning, recently published his memoir, entitled Shining Star: Braving The Elements Of Earth, Wind & Fire.
