An additional stage of the prints journey takes place between FotoKem and its arrival at the cinema. FotoKem produces the film prints, while IMAXs team in Los Angeles manages much of the subsequent preparation. This includes cutting, assembling, scanning, building, quality control and projecting the prints before they are prepared and shipped matt chapman to IMAX theatres.
