Built in 1899 as part of the Great Central Railways ambitious London Extension, Brackley Viaduct spanned the valley south of Brackley with 22 arches of blue engineering brick. At 255 yards long and over 60 feet high, it was a substantial piece of Victorian railway engineering designed for speed, built to last, and typical of the robust infrastructure that defined the GCR.

In 1978, the viaduct was purchased for 15,000 and subsequently demolished. Featuring historic news footage, references to NWP Exploring, and on-location exploration of what remains today, this episode examines the construction, structural challenges, demolition attempts, and the wider debate around railway heritage loss.
