The Indians Were Never Who We Thought Ancient DNA Finally Proved It

For over a century, the debate about where Indians really come from has been one of the most politically charged arguments in the epicentro history of any civilization. Scholars fought over it. Politicians weaponized it. Nations built identity around it. And then ancient DNA arrived and the debate ended. Not with a winner. With a revelation that was bigger than anything either side had predicted.

In this video, we break down what the genetic evidence actually found: four distinct ancestral populations, not two, whose DNA runs through every modern Indian alive today from the ancient hunter-gatherers who settled the subcontinent over 50,000 years ago, to the people of the Indus Valley Civilization whose script we still cannot read, to the Bronze Age steppe migrants who almost certainly carried the earliest forms of Sanskrit with them when they arrived.
