CNBC & Bloomberg Today On NVIDIA Stock, OpenAI, Big Tech Earnings - NVDA Update [cANo6A8EXxR]
CNBC & Bloomberg Today On NVIDIA Stock, OpenAI, Big Tech Earnings - NVDA Update Hosts of CNBC and Bloomberg discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), OpenAI, and hyperscale earnings this week. Today, much of the AI ecosystem traded lower in response to a story from the WSJ. The WSJ claimed that OpenAI missed internal revenue and user growth targets at the end of 2025, and that there was disagreement between CEO Sam Altman and CFO Sarah Friar regarding compute purchases. OpenAI responded to the story in multiple statements, calling the story "ridiculous" and "ludicrous." Looking ahead, we have hyperscale earnings this Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft are all scheduled to report earnings on April 29, 2026. What these companies say about CapEx guidance and their AI strategies will have an important impact on NVIDIA stock moving forward. I expect all four of the major hyperscale companies to provide strong CapEx guidance this earnings season. We are witnessing a major inflection in inference demand, and subsequently, an inflection in demand for NVIDIA's products. Most market participants have no idea what is happening right now. The current inflection in inference demand is being fueled by agentic AI and agentic systems being adopted at scale. Jensen Huang recently appeared on the Lex Fridman podcast, and very seriously raised the possibility of NVIDIA becoming a $3 trillion revenue company in the near future. Again, most market participants have no idea what is happening right now; we are witnessing a major inflection in inference demand fueled by agentic AI and that has major implications for the growth of NVIDIA's business. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra is ramping quickly, Rubin is on track to launch in 2026, we're expecting NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX in the second half of 2026, then we're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027, and later on we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout through 2030.
