One of the young eaglets of beloved Big Bear eagles Jackie and Shadow took flight for the first time from their nest on June 29. In a blog post, the Friends of Big Bear Valley said Luna “took the leap of faith and in beautiful form flew gracefully” over to a tree where his dad, Shadow, was waiting for him.
