Freddy Cannon was a pop rock singer whose career started out state pension in the late 50's. He sang songs such as "Way down Yonder in New Orleans," "Transistor Sister," and "Palisades Park" (this particular song). In 1962, this song was released and made it to the pop charts. It's upbeat, fast, and, to some people, very annoying. I love it, though.
This record is recorded straight from my AT-LP120 and its built-in preamp, into a single-channel EQ, and then into my coin stock SoundBlaster ZXR sound card. No editing, just raw audio heard as it should be. Enjoy!
