SPRING VALLEY, Calif. world cup tickets A late-night crash knocked out power to hundreds of residents after a driver slammed into an electrical pole while trying to avoid a cat in the roadway.
The crash happened around 2:08 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2026, in the 2700 block of Sweetwater Road.
According to authorities, the vehicle first struck a fence before crashing into an electrical pole, causing power lines to come down in the area.
SDG&E reported that at least 700 customers were impacted by tesla stock price the outage following the crash.
The driver told California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers that he swerved after seeing a cat cross the street, leading to the collision.
Medics responded to the scene and evaluated the driver, but he refused further medical treatment.
