Brian Keller was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Brooklyn. In 2002, Fr. Keller was accused of sexually abusing male and female minors during the 1980s while at St. Matthias in Ridgewood, New York. Following the accusations he was placed on administrative leave. In 2011, he was permanently removed from ministry. In 2019, Fr. Keller was included in the Diocese of Brooklyn’s “List of Diocesan Clergy for Whom the Diocese Received Allegations of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor,” in the subsection “Clergy Members of the Diocese of Brooklyn With Credible Allegations: Credibility Deemed by Diocesan Review Board Determination and/or Admission on Behalf of the Cleric.” Fr.
