#truecrime #CriminalRecords #crimepodcast Frank Athen Walls was a Florida serial killer who, between 1985 and 1987, murdered five people in Okaloosa County, including young women Tommie Lou Whiddon, Cynthia Sue Condra, and Audrey Gygi, as well as the couple Edward Alger, an airman, and his girlfriend Ann Peterson during a 1987 home invasion. After breaking into Alger and Peterson’s mobile home, Walls bound them, slit Alger’s throat and shot him when he attempted to fight back, and then fatally shot Peterson as she struggled for her life. He was arrested the following day after his roommate alerted police and stolen property was found in his residence. Initially convicted in 1988 and again in 1992, Walls was sentenced to death for the murder of Ann Peterson. He spent more than three decades on death row, with appeals focusing on his youth at the time of the crimes and claims of possible intellectual disability. At the age of 58, Frank Athen Walls was executed by lethal injection on December 18, 2025, at Florida State Prison near Starke, and was pronounced dead at 6:11 p.m. Join us as we explore another chilling and complex true crime case.
