The Yemen-based Houthis have ramped up attacks against Saudi Arabia. Houthis have launched ballistic missiles and drones at Saudi oil tankers and Aramco oil facilities. Some of the weapons used by the Houthis include the Al-Mandeb anti-ship cruise missile, the Quds subsonic cruise missile and the Shahed-131 drones that are smaller and cheaper than the Iranian Shahed-136 drones. Aramco is the world's largest oil company and has now been struck at least twice by the Houthis in the last few days. Meanwhile, the Houthis have also blocked the Bab El-Mandeb strait for Saudi Arabia which oversees 10% of global oil trade. However, the strait also oversees almost 75% of total Saudi oil exports, with tankers now stranded in the Red Sea. Meanwhile, Pakistan, which signed a mutual defence agreement with Saudi Arabia is yet to stick to its promises and defence Saudi Arabia from any kind of attack.
