UKs fourth HEATWAVE peaks as temperatures soar to 35°C [W66ttaG3x5t]
Temperatures may rise as high as 36C today as heatwave conditions return to some parts of the UK. This week’s hot spell is the fourth heatwave of the year so far, but thankfully today's heat will not be as widespread as the previous three. The GFS weather model shows potential highs of 36C in parts of East Anglia and the south-east this afternoon, with 35C coming across much of eastern and south-eastern England. The Midlands can expect highs of 32-33C, the data suggests, with temperatures possibly hitting 31C as far north as Yorkshire.
