An Eglin Air Force Base airman convicted of killing his wife and two children with a machete in 1994 was executed Thursday. It's the ninth death sentence carried out in 2025 to set a new state record for a single year. A 10th execution is scheduled for Aug. 19 and an 11th on Aug. 28.
