For Rolling Stone's eight-part May 2026 cover-story package, the seven members of @BTS met up in Seoul, South Korea in mid-February to talk with senior writer Brian Hiatt, both individually and as a group. In this group interview the first of eight videos the worlds biggest band talks about battling it out to decide which #arirang tracks made the album, the idea of a #bts Super Bowl halftime show, dealing with haters, their reactions to #jungkook's explicit Seven lyrics, and more. #btsarmy

BTS on the Super Bowl halftime show:

#jimin: We cant do it unless were invited!

#jhope: "Honestly, it's a dream for any artist to perform at the Super Bowl."

#jin: "I saw performance and it was awesome, so I do think about it."

#rm on intervening with #hybe over #jungkook's "Seven" lyrics: "I told the label, 'Please don't change! Why not? He's all grown up. He can sing an f-word.'"

#jhope on the groups approach to Arirang: In general, on both rap and vocals for this album, we tried to loosen up a lot.

RM on addressing haters on the track "2.0": "There are really people who just pray in their home. 'Please, BTS, just go fall down. Just break apart and collapse.'

#vbts on the group's vocal ranges: "Jimin is vastly superior."
