Spencer Kimball, director of the Emerson College Polling Center, said that Abdul El-Sayed has managed to keep an edge on Haley Stevens in Emerson's poll of the Michigan democratic primary for Senate because he has managed to put together a coalition of younger people and educated voters around the state.
